Although the history of A.Q. Allstate Pest Control, in various entities, has a history of serving the greater Des Moines area well before 1987, the current family ownership of the company resides with Brad and Nancy Janssen who assumed ownership in July 2002.

	Brad Janssen
	Brad is the President of A.Q. Allstate Pest Control Co., Inc and has been in the Pest Control Business for over 20 years. He, along with his wife Nancy, purchased A.Q. Allstate Pest Control in 2002. It is an ever-changing industry and one that he finds great satisfaction in. His knowledge and problem solving abilities go a long way to helping our customers with their pest issues. Brad is always doing research for the latest and best solution to the ever going pest problems that face our environment. He is State Certified and holds 7A, 7B & D for Applicators Certificates. He is married and has 2 step sons (see below) and 1 daughter. Anna is currently attending U.N.I. for Elementary Education. He enjoys golfing and boating with his wife and spending time with the grand children.
	Nancy Janssen
	Nancy is the Secretary /Treasurer and is in charge of the office and all that that entails. She has served on the Iowa Pest Management Board and is a Past President of the I.P.M.A. She has 2 boys and a step daughter. Bryce, the oldest, has just received his assignment for the Air Force as an Air Battle Manager. He has already served his country by being deployed to Iraq for 14 months with the Army. His wife is a 1st Lt. in the Air Force. Erik, the youngest, works for A.Q. Allstate—see his profile below. Nancy loves to decorate and spending time with the grand children and boating.
	Erik Hardt
	Erik is the Operation and Sales Manager. He is State Certified and holds 7A, 7B Applicator’s License and NPMA Food Plant Pest Management Certification. He is always thinking and striving to do what is best for the customer. He has held a Private Pilot’s license since he was 19 years old. He is married and has a son and a step daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, bow hunting and flying in his spare time. He has recently joined the Army National Guard and will be going to Basic and then onto A.I.T. this spring. Wish him well!!
	Josette Gilliam
	Josette is our Office Manager. She is the main voice you hear when scheduling appointments or calling the office. Josette is in charge of all appointments for all facets of our business. She has 3 boys and is newly engaged.
	Joe Kephart
	Joe is the Lead Service Technician. He is State Certified and holds 7A and 7B Applicator’s Certificates. He was recognized as “Employee of the Year” last year for the company. He has a can do attitude and the customer comes first mind set. Joe will go the extra mile. In his spare time, he enjoys softball and spending time with his girlfriend.
	Justin Van Rees
	Justin is State Certified and holds Applicator Certificates for 7A & 7B. He is our Heat Remediation Specialist. When our trailer pulls up, more than likely, Justin will be there. Justin is married and has 2 boys. He loves spending his spare time with his family.
