Although the history of A.Q. Allstate Pest Control, in various entities, has a history of serving the greater Des Moines area well before 1987, the current family ownership of the company resides with Brad and Nancy Janssen who assumed ownership in July 2002.

Brad Janssen |
| Brad is the President of A.Q. Allstate Pest Control Co., Inc and has been in the Pest Control Business for over 20 years. He, along with his wife Nancy, purchased A.Q. Allstate Pest Control in 2002. It is an ever-changing industry and one that he finds great satisfaction in. His knowledge and problem solving abilities go a long way to helping our customers with their pest issues. Brad is always doing research for the latest and best solution to the ever going pest problems that face our environment. He is State Certified and holds 7A, 7B & D for Applicators Certificates. He is married and has 2 step sons (see below) and 1 daughter. Anna is currently attending U.N.I. for Elementary Education. He enjoys golfing and boating with his wife and spending time with his grandchild. |

Nancy Janssen |
| Nancy is the Secretary /Treasurer and is in charge of the office and all that that entails. She has served on the Iowa Pest Management Board and is a Past President of the I.P.M.A. She has 2 boys and a step daughter. Bryce, the oldest, has just received his assignment for the Air Force as an Air Battle Manager. He has already served his country by being deployed to Iraq for 14 months with the Army. His wife is a 1st Lt. in the Air Force. Erik, the youngest, works for A.Q. Allstate—see his profile below. Nancy loves to decorate and spending time with her grandchild and boating. |

Erik Hardt |
Erik is the Operation and Sales Manager. He is State Certified and holds 7A, 7B Applicator’s License and NPMA Food Plant Pest Management Certification. He is always thinking and striving to do what is best for the customer. He has held a Private Pilot’s license since he was 19 years old. He has a very active & adorable son. Erik is attending William Penn University for Business and he is also serving his country as a Horizontal Engineer in the Army National Guard. He enjoys spending time with his son, bow hunting and flying in his spare time, when he has spare time! He received the distinction of being named “The Honor Graduate” at his A.I.T. training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. |

Josette Gilliam |
| Josette is our Office Manager. She is the main voice you hear when scheduling appointments or calling the office. Josette is in charge of all appointments for all facets of our business. She has 3 boys and is engaged and planning a wedding. |

Justin Van Rees |
Justin is State Certified and holds Applicator Certificates for 7A & 7B. He is our Sentricon Technician. So if you have or will be getting our Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System, you will be seeing Justin on your property checking the stations. He is also one of our Pest Control Technicians and performs pest control services for our customers. Justin is married and has 2 boys. He loves spending his spare time with his family. |

Billy Van Hauen |
Billy is State Certified and holds an Applicator Certificate for 7A. Billy is one of our Heat Remediation Specialists. If you see our trailer on your property, Billy will probably there also. He also serves as one of our Pest Control Technicians. He is attending DMACC. |

Nick is State Certified and holds Applicator Certificates for 7A & 7B. Nick is one of our Pest Control Technicians and as well as a Heat Remediation Specialist. He loves to spend time with his children and really likes motorcycles. |
